The 2-year term of our Board Directors ends for three Directors:
Lea Rybolt, Adam Edwards, Horst Lueck
President Patti Gordon will conduct a short business meeting and we will elect three Directors for a two-year term.
The Why of Whitewater
Our speaker is Aaron Zettler-Mann, a doctoral candidate at the University of Oregon in the Department of Geography.
Aaron has been running whitewater for 15 years, including about 8 years as a commercial raft guide in the Sierra Nevada region of California.
His research is on Fluvial Geomorphology which uses photogrammetry and drones to study the relationships of channel width, depth, gravel sizes, landslides, tributaries, geology, levees, bridges, roads, and railroads.
