Events - Event View

This section is mainly Class 1 moving water of good reservoir fed flow. Last year we noted 3 areas with large wood which presented as difficult to get through. To paddle the woody areas a paddler needs very strong boat control and maneuvering ability. It is possible to walk your boat on a line past the big wood as an option. A distance of 5 miles, both the Launch and Takeout are developed and easy. The Launch has a long portage of 1,100 ft from parking area to the river.
