Willamette River Cleanup October 19th

Willamette Riverkeeper is organizing the Great Willamette River Cleanup again this year. And again this year, WKCC has volunteered to remove trash from Clearwater to D Street in Springfield. This is a bring your own boat event. IKs, canoes, and SUPs work great.
DETAILS: Please be on time and arrange your own shuttle.
* If you need a shuttle, meet 9:00 at Aspen/D streets boat ramp takeout. We’ll consolidate vehicles, load boats and drive to Clearwater.
* Then gear up, ready your boat and attend the 10:00 Safety Talk. Please dress for the weather (and the water!), bring water to drink, and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes. Willamette Riverkeeper will provide trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers. PFDs are required to participate in the cleanup, and must be worn at all times while on the water.
Feels great to give back to our river, and cleanups are always fun!!
