Details just sent out via email. Fri 9:30pm. Email or text if you didn‘t get it I scouted it, but never ran it. Looks like class 2, 2+ and a little 3. Trip 104 in Soggy Sneakers. More rain coming. Should be plenty of water. Other possible option could be below Hanna Br, but that looked very flat.

This is a great section of the North Santiam. 9 miles of beautiful scenery and entertaining rapids. The level will most likely be close to 4,000cfs so boaters should have experience with class 3 water. Helmets and life jackets are required. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. - Brian NMSUEagle@gmail.com 505-401-0753

The Lower Calapooia, about 4.3 miles to its confluence with the Willamette River. Time about 1:45hrs This section presents with some little ledges, fair flow, a couple of minor pools. Wood is unknown as we have not paddled this section this season. This would be a good paddle for a learner who has some boat control. Register for this paddle to receive an Email Tuesday evening with details about the shuttle, launch, and takeout.

Dave‘s Creek is a date holder for a paddle where we are unsure of the venue at this time. The venue is selected Friday before the paddle based on levels, weather, and the group interest. This paddle will be the South Santiam launching at Wiley Creek Boat launch, Foster OR, takeout at Bates Bridge, about 8 miles.

There are some really good looking surf spots, so this trip would focus on those surf spots. I have not run this before, but scouted it a lot. At the end of it, River goes into a canyon with slow water and then finish at Foster Res. (or take out earlier). Has good rapids in it too. Last week, there was a lot of extra water at 1150 when upstream runs looked low. So this run can lose alot of water and still be good.

Jefferson to I-5 rest area. About 4 miles, easy entry onto the river easy takeout at well developed public ramps. This section of river is docile and is an excellent venue for newbies and learners. If you are a flat water paddler, you will feel comfortable on this moving water paddle. Register for an Email Tuesday evening with details about the Launch, Shuttle, and Takeout.
